A: The procedure will not harm your eyelids or natural lashes. Your eyes remain closed during the procedure to ensure that the adhesive does not enter your eyes. The primary ingredient in our adhesive is the same ingredient used by surgeons in the U.S. for suture-less wound closure.
Q: How long do eyelash extensions last?
A: When properly applied, lash extensions can last indefinitely, with fills done every 2-4 weeks. The lash extensions fall out with your natural lashes, and the life cycle of natural lashes is typically 60-90 days.
Q: How do I prepare for the lash extension procedure?
A: Do not wear any mascara or curl your lashes. The eyelids and lashes must be completely clean.
Q: How do I care for my lash extensions?
A: You will receive a special care instruction sheet at your first appointment. The special care instructions are also listed on this website under the ABOUT US tab.
Q: What if I wear contacts?
A: We ask that you do not wear or remove your contacts upon arrival. This is just because you have to keep your eyes closed for an extended period of time, and some contacts are known to irritate the eyes in this situation.
Q: Can I get extensions on my bottom lashes too?
A: The Lash Girl's Studio only offers top lash extensions. To apply bottom lash extensions, the eyes must be kept open. This would be uncomfortable for our clients, therefore we do not offer this service.
Q: What kind of makeup do I have to wear?
A: The Lash Girl's Studio does not require that you purchase or wear a special makeup , shadow or eyeliner. Only thing we suggest is using a waterbased mascara and avoid oily products on lashes.
